etiscan Packages
etiscan.device
The base package. This module completely covers the core functions of BC logistics—and more. From goods receipt, put-away, and internal transfers to picking, extensive functions are available to significantly simplify your daily mobile operations. Flexible tools include mobile access to inventory information for every item, replenishment processes, and inventory adjustments, all the way to a complete physical inventory that can be performed on a rolling basis or on a specific key date. Each user can select their preferred display language.
etiscan.production
The production module enables mobile work with BC production orders. Batch-accurate posting of raw material consumption is just as possible as reporting finished goods. Batches or serial numbers can be recorded and labels printed during this process as well. Optionally, time tracking for entire production orders or individual operations is integrated—down to the work center group level. This allows for a mobile and largely paperless production environment.
etiscan.shipment
The core of this module is etiscan Packing. This feature is unique to etiscan and has been significantly expanded to provide maximum value to our customers. Packing is performed on a mobile device or PC using selectable packaging materials (cartons, pallets, etc.). Once packing is complete, the dimensions and weight of each package can be recorded and labeled, which simplifies more than just customs handling. The highlight: packages are managed in BC and can be used directly by shipping solutions. All data remains in BC and can be viewed at any time. etiscan.shipment unlocks additional functions in the outbound process: in addition to multi-order picking (optionally using transport boxes) as an extension of picking, you can post the delivery directly from your mobile device at the end of the outbound process. Finally, a concluding loading check ensures that the goods have been loaded onto the correct truck.
etiscan.qa
etiscan supports full BC item tracking for batches and serial numbers, as well as expiration dates. Combinations, which are common in some industries, are also supported. Additionally, you can take photos and attach them to BC documents, simplifying claims processing and shipping documentation. You can also capture and save signatures directly on your mobile device.
etiscan.odc
With this module, etiscan provides an integration for controlling scales and other IoT devices from well-known manufacturers.
etiscan.package
This module allows you to create load carriers in BC using BC package numbers. This finally makes it possible to group multiple items into a single container (usually a pallet) and track them within the warehouse. The BC package number acts as a new layer in BC item tracking, alongside batch and serial numbers, and can be used either in addition to or independently of them. Items can thus be managed and moved by the unit from goods receipt to shipping, simplifying everyday warehouse handling.

Using dedicated interfaces, this module allows you to control a wide range of storage systems directly from your mobile device—including paternoster racks (e.g., Kardex), fully automated storage systems (e.g., AutoStore), autonomous full-pallet warehouses (e.g., Jungheinrich), and mobile racking systems—to ensure optimal process flow and maximum time efficiency.
etiscan.label
This module is used whenever a label needs to be printed via etiscan or triggered from the ERP system. When printing labels with etiscan, you can select the printer and define layouts—one layout is always included in the module, with additional layouts available as options. Furthermore, labels can be reprinted as often as needed if one is damaged or missing. etiscan always uses barcode label printers, e.g., from Zebra or Zebra-compatible (ZPL-capable) devices.
etiscan.handsfree
This module enables the use of powerful, ergonomic hands-free devices, such as the nimmsta smartwatch or the ProGlove scanner, for tasks like mobile picking, while interacting with the etiscan solution on a handheld device.
etiscan.miscprinter
etiscan recommends barcode label printers from Zebra. The module allows for the connection of printers from other manufacturers that support ZPL code.
etiscan.miscdevice
etiscan recommends barcode hardware from Zebra & Honeywell. The module allows for the connection of hardware from other manufacturers, such as Keyence, Newland, tablets, and more.
etiscan.projects
This module allows material withdrawals to be assigned directly to a project via mobile device, with multiple items and quantities recorded in a single operation. This is particularly helpful when material is needed spontaneously on construction sites, in projects, or during maintenance work and cannot be fully planned in advance. Instead of booking each item individually or entering it manually later, all required items are collected directly during the workflow and accurately assigned to the appropriate project. This reduces administrative effort, minimizes rework in Business Central, and ensures a consistent, practical workflow for project-related processes.
