Hagen Grote GmbH has been supplying demanding amateur chefs with exclusive products for cooking, enjoyment and stylish home decor for over 30 years. With over 12,000 items — many of them seasonally or country-specific — logistics is highly complex. In addition, there are international markets, multilingualism, high service expectations and constantly new articles that must be integrated into the system.


In order to keep up with this growing momentum, logistics manager André Eichholz was brought on board in 2023. His task: Digitize and accelerate existing warehouse processes and at the same time reduce the incidence of errors.

The solution:
Digital Warehouse Processes with etiscan

The choice was etiscan — a scalable, mobile solution for digitized logistics processes. In combination with the existing ERP system VS/4 from D&G Software, central work processes have been modernized: Order picking, goods receipt, transfer, inventory information and inventory are now completely paperless via mobile devices. Particularly in Focus: online order picking via Zebra wearables, which allows employees to work flexibly directly in the warehouse — with minimal effort and maximum process reliability.
