Our mobile app not only shows its strengths with a direct WLAN connection - BC Scan can also be used offline in warehouses, logistics and production. Etiscan BC Scan communicates directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC via web service extensions.
The full integration of BC Scan can be done by Etiscan or your ERP partner. Our solution is flexible in its range of functions and the number of users can also be easily scaled. This is ensured by our individually orderable modules and the transparent licensing of the mobile devices. Etiscan BC Scan is currently used by our customers in a range from 2 to over 200 users working in parallel - fallback and load balancing solutions designed by Etiscan are also used. When selecting the hardware, we prefer our market-leading Auto-ID partners Zebra and Honeywell and are happy to advise you individually - always with a focus on the requirements of your company and the field of application of the mobile end devices. We place particular emphasis on the security of the systems used and will be happy to provide you with comprehensive advice.

The goods receipt for the order posts incoming goods in MS Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC). The Etiscan solution performs a mobile comparison between the order and the delivered goods. As a rule, goods receipt documents serve as a basis. However, several origin documents are also possible, e.g. purchase order, stock transfer order, returns, ...
The update in Business Central can be done in one or two steps.
On request, a separation of functions between order creation/release and inspection of the goods received can be taken into account.
Further options such as printing labels in the goods receipt, the recording of serial numbers, as well as the recording or generation from BC of batch numbers and much more is possible.
- Goods receipt takes place on a 1-step basis, i.e. the goods are placed directly into storage at the target storage location.
- Goods receipt takes place in 2 steps, i.e. the goods are received with this process and placed in the goods receipt storage bin defined in BC.

- Putaway order
If goods receipts are initially posted to the Business Central (BC) goods receipt storage bin, the goods must be transferred to storage bins in the warehouse at a later stage.
In BC, the putaway document is used for this purpose. This document is usually created automatically when the goods receipt is posted in BC.
This process enables mobile processing of Business Central putaway documents.

- Single rearrangement (spontaneous)
The process enables the mobile transfer of an item in a certain quantity from one (storage location) storage bin to another (storage location) storage bin in one step.
The user can decide freely what he wants to transfer, since he is not bound to any order/document. However, the user can only transfer one article at a time.
The process can also be used to move goods that have already been received with the "Goods receipt for purchase order" process from the goods receipt area to the warehouse.
- Collective stock transfer
With collective stock transfer, several items can be picked up and transferred in any order on a mobile basis. The process can be used, for example, for warehouse optimization or replenishment. This stock transfer process can also be used to move goods that have already been received with the "Goods receipt for order" process from the goods receipt area to the warehouse.
- Stock transfer order / order stock transfer
The process enables you to process mobile Business Central (BC) stock transfer documents. BC stock transfer orders (across storage locations) or storage bin transfers (within a storage location) can serve as a basis. The documents are created on the PC in BC and can then be processed by Etiscan BC Scan mobile.

Goods issue documents are used as a basis in BC.
Origin documents are sales orders, stock transfer orders, production orders or assembly orders. The entry into a pick can be done either via manual entry/scan, via automatic assignment or via selection from a list.

- Multi order picking
Several origin documents (e.g. sales orders) can be combined in one goods issue document and picking documents can be created from them. A picking document is loaded at the scanner and processed in one pass through the warehouse.

- Transport container registration
For each origin document, the articles can be picked and assigned to transport containers.

The Etiscan module Packing in Business Central enables the creation and recording of any packages (boxes, pallets, wire mesh boxes, containers, etc.). Lists of contents and address labels can be created, and weight and dimensions can also be recorded.
In the packing dialog, you always have an overview of all items in the goods issue that are still unpacked, so that no item is forgotten. In Business Central, starting from the goods issue, all packages and their contents can be displayed.
With the loading control, which is also available from Etiscan, it is then possible to optionally check whether all packages have been loaded.
A coupling to dispatch service providers over the product Comsol Multiship is likewise optionally possible.
• Stock Information Article and Warehouse enables you to query and display the stock of an article and / or storage bin according to Business Central (BC) on a mobile basis.
• Article information provides further information on the article, e.g. article long text, packaging units, batches, serial number.
- Spontaneous stock change
This is a spontaneous stock correction. The process makes it possible to change mobile stock levels without reference to another posting (e.g. order).
With reference to cause codes, articles can be added to or deducted from the warehouse stock. An authorization of the user can take place additionally for this.
